THE HISTORY…..

It is very hard to talk about the birth and the evolution of Harley Davidson Club North Eagles Bikers Italy since the very different experiences that each of our members had around the world. Harley Davidson Club North Eagles Bikers Italy everything starts on 1994 after HDRI (Harley Davidson Riders Italy) spiting up, the first Italian Harley Club, at the begin of 80’s participated to the foundation of European HD federation. HDRI leaved its mark on HD movement on our country. It’s enough to remind the participation of HDRI in the organization in 1993 of “Super Rally Italy” in Murazzano (CN). Many of our members was involved in those works. We was saying that everything started on 1994 when someone of us realized to found a new group. Many people immediately looked very interested in this project but it was necessary about one year to organize and plan in the better way. On 1995 Harley Davidson Club North Eagles Bikers Italy finally was officially born with 50 members. In spite of the geographical distance that separates our members the cohesion of our community is getting better and better. We underline that the age of our member is from 20 to 60!!! We like to remind that our definitive name was suggested by our American honorary member Mr Larry Campbell that, unfortunately, once got back in New Jersey had a serious accident driving its Springer and from that bad day he lives semi paralyzed. We are keen on the absolute independence of Harley Davidson Our club does not receive any contribution by Harley Davidson; we do not belong neither to HOG, even if we have good relation ship with someone of their chapter, nor to F.M.I. and not even to MC Club even if we respect their principles. We have a good relationship with F.E.H.D.C. (European Harley Club Federation) and we could say that our spirit and identity are very near to the their ones. In order to avoid any misunderstanding and to make a reciprocal acquaintance, we ask new members to participate to our activities during a trial period . Our “car fleet” is mainly made up of  EVO 1340 but there are also valuable “scrap iron” as WL, PAN 1200 and some SHOVEL that continue to work in a very good way. What we can tell you more: at the beginning we organized some party and Toy Run. In January we organize the “Winter Run” that gives to the participants the opportunity to estimate their attitude in positioning. Every year we organize: a regional (Friuli Venezia Giulia) party to have the opportunity to know and sharpen new members, a general meeting reserved for our members, tours, trips, parties, and twinning with other Harley clubs. As last but not least every one of us eat up many miles taking part in Free Wheels, Super Rally, Elefanterteffen, Daytona and above all in the small old style local party where has been struck off the circus freak and where is favourite the dialog between bikers. In conclusion, Harley Davidson Club North Eagles Bikers Italy gives its regards to its friends and to the club that was close to us and to the people that lives according to Harley style: fairly, fraternally, and honestly…
